Spectralux Avionics Enters Into Agreement with Boeing for Data Link
REDMOND, WASHINGTON, September 20, 2016 – Spectralux Avionics (www.spectralux.com), a leading manufacturer of retrofit data link systems for commercial, business, and regional aircraft, today announced that it has entered into an Agreement with Boeing Intellectual Property Licensing Company (BIPLC) that will permit Owners and Operators of Boeing 737, 757, and 767 aircraft to use the data link product in conjunction with an enabled AOC OPC system. Spectralux and its authorized dealers will sell the data link system directly to end users, who will then work with Boeing Commercial Aircraft to enable their AOC OPC.
“We are happy that we were able to reach this agreement with Boeing Licensing,” said Spectralux President Scott McCammant. “The combination of our data link products such as our current Dlink+ or our soon to be released ENVOY™ Data Link along with Third Party Data Services, will allow our commercial air transport customers to drive improved efficiency from their aircraft operations.
