Dlink+
All-in-one ACARS with growth to ATN/CPDLC

Dlink+ is a single LRU communications management system designed to meet the growing data communications requirement of today’s and future aircraft operations and associated ground networks.

About Dlink+
Continuous Communications
Dlink+ operates with message sets defined by ARINC 618/620 & 622/623 and a baseline start-up mode for Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS). The unit operates in Mode 0/A (character oriented, 2400 bits/second using Minimum Shift Keying (MSK)) and Mode 2 (bit oriented, 31500 bits/second using Differential 8 Phase Shift Keying (D8PSK)).

Dlink+ provides efficient air to ground/ground to air communications.

Dlink+ provides a complete communication management system.
– Baseline ACARS
– End-to-end Aircraft Operational Control (AOC)
– Aviation VHF Link Control (AVLC)
– ACARS over AVLC (AOA)
– Air Traffic Services (ATS)
– ARINC 623/ATN option
– Two-way free text

Flexibility
Dlink+ was created to fit more than just one need. It was built with growth and the future in mind.

Customizable
Dlink+ user database enables the configuration of menus, message handling, and frequency management tables. The customer-defined menu can be customized based on individual needs. Dlink+ core database provides ARINC defined labels and messaging and maintenance data.
Techology that talks
As a high speed digital data communications system, Dlink+ provides a Display Unit (DU), Mode 0/2 VHF Digital Radio, and Data Management Unit (DMU) in a Single Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)

Dlink+ modular design includes:
– Single Board Computer (SBC)
– I/O Card
– Display Unit/Power Supply
– VHF Digital Radio
– Ethernet-based Architecture

Versatile
Dlink+ supplies an Ethernet connection to file servers, laptops, and to Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), which allows for the display of aircraft data of incoming messages. With its capability to access weather and flight plan services, Dlink+ helps maximize time and resources.

Dlink+ versatile technology enables capabilities with software upgrades through a proprietary simplified data loader.

Dlink+ utilizes optional Windows-based ground tools:
– Data Generator (Generates files for reconfiguring Dlink+)
– Database Compiler
– Database Editor
– System Simulator (Training)
– System Software Loader

Expandable
Dlink+ multiple interfaces allow easy adaptability with:
– Satelite Communications interface
    – Iridium
    – Inmarsat
– Cockpit printer (740/744)
– A-619-compatible cockpit devices
– Flight Management System (FMS)

ACMF (Aircraft Condition and Monitoring Function)
Configured to monitor up to 2000 airframe and engine parameters

The latest software upgrade to Dlink+ has introduced a comprehensive and user configurable Aircraft Condition Monitoring Function (ACMF). With this condition monitoring capability, Dlink+ can now be configured to monitor up to 2000 airframe and engine parameters from routine to exceedance type messages. The user configurable database allows any number of FOQA or MOQA type events, either routine, or as the result of an exceedance, to be detected and downlinked via ACARS with the required parameter details for information or action. The ACMF is fully user programmable and the resulting user-specific database can easily be adapted to accommodate particular event investigation.
