Jim Reynolds

Jim Reynolds is the manager of Avionics Engineering at Spectralux. Jim has expertise in both aerospace and information technology engineering, developed over his 25+ year career after graduating with a B.S. in Engineering Technology from Purdue University.

Prior to joining Spectralux, Jim designed and developed systems as a hardware, software and systems engineer with Boeing Defense and Space, Boeing Commercial, and Honeywell Aerospace. Major avionics development efforts include datalink systems found on the Boeing C-17 and a ground mapping radar found on the Airbus A400M. Jim’s commercial avionics experience also includes over 200 hours as a flight test engineer. His solid understanding of the development process along with years of real world experience with commercial avionics helps to make Spectralux products more competitive in the marketplace.

Jim is an airplane enthusiast with SEL time along with a private license for sailplanes.
